Hybrid working is emerging as the strategy of choice for large organisations where the option of remote working is viable in the longer-term, and general consensus indicates that most are considering a split of as high as 50/50 or 60/40 workplace/remote working. This is reinforced by Gartner, who says that social distancing in offices will limit office capacity to 40% and by the end of 2021, 30% of organisations will consider downsizing office space.
