No going back? The new you is hybrid. Planning a safe return to work.

26th November 2020 | 3:00pm - 4:30pm GMT
As we begin the process of recovery, how can you unlock creativity by augmenting people with automation?

The urgency created by recent events acted as a catalyst to faster executive decision-making and action. When it mattered most we all mobilised millions of people to work differently, cutting through bureaucracy out of sheer necessity.

Now, having challenged the status quo, there’s no going back.

Hybrid working is emerging as the strategy of choice for large organisations where the option of remote working is viable in the longer-term, and general consensus indicates that most are considering a split of as high as 50/50 or 60/40 workplace/remote working.  This is reinforced by Gartner, who says that social distancing in offices will limit office capacity to 40% and by the end of 2021, 30% of organisations will consider downsizing office space.

Discussion Topics

What are the benefits and challenges of hybrid working?
When you’re managing the safe return to work how can you prioritise the actions you need to take? What comes first and what’s the sequence of events?
How can you redefine ‘work’ to reflect the hybrid world, and how do you reconfigure the workplace, technology, and structure to align?
What is the employee’s perspective on ‘the new you is hybrid’ and what is needed to make them successful?
