Right Here, Right Now:
AI and the Future of IT
How can you use AI and other emerging technologies to properly leverage data, learnings and insights and overcome “the data paradox”?
According to some estimates, we’ve seen a decade’s worth of digital progress over the course of the pandemic. Behaviours are shifting. Business models are being disrupted. And organisations are looking at how to unlock the power of information to increase operational efficiencies, improve their customers’ experience and deliver on strategic goals.
How we collect, organise and leverage data is key to much of that progress. Yet despite being an organization’s greatest asset, data can also – paradoxically – be the biggest barrier to transformation, if not handled correctly. Findings from the 2020 Dell Technologies Digital Transformation Index study revealed that while two-thirds of businesses say they need more data, 70% of organisations are gathering data faster than they can use it. 64% have too much data to effectively meet their security and compliance requirements, and only 21% feel they are truly treating data as capital and prioritising its use across the business.
It’s time to get smarter about how we think about data – and technologies such as AI, machine learning, 5G, cloud and edge have a vital role to play in shaping that future. Indeed, understanding the impact of AI, and its role within your business, will be essential to address some of the paradoxes surrounding our increasing reliance on data, and the infrastructures needed to unlock those capabilities. So how can AI help you?
Join Dell Technologies, VMware, NVIDIA and others for this virtual showcase event to find out. We’ll be exploring how AI is changing the world; why AI adoption is essential for your organisation’s success; and how to set the right strategy for your business. Finally, we’ll share examples from some of the world’s leading organisations about how they’re leveraging AI to optimise their performance.
We’re serious about sustainability. For every person who attends this event, Dell Technologies will plant five mangrove trees through the Million Mangroves programme, working in partnership with community planting organisations based along the Mtwapa Creek in Kenya. Mangroves protect coastlines from storm surges, stabilise sediment from erosion and provide a habitat to important marine biodiversity, while also benefitting local communities. They are estimated to sequester up to four times more carbon than rainforests, making them a valuable resource in the fight against climate change. Join this virtual showcase event and contribute to the vital task of combatting environmental degradation.
